The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
The significance of a man is not in what he attains but rather in what he hopes to attain.
— Kahlil Gibran
At Central Academy, Kudi we believe in the importance of strong relationships existing between students, parents and teachers. All students should be encouraged on a daily basis to aim high and follow their dreams, with the notion that hard work is the key driver that enables outstanding academic performance. Equally importantly, we encourage our students to excel and participate in many different sporting, cultural and leadership opportunities. This enables them to develop their personalities and encourages them to be confident and happy individuals.
We emphasize on learning behaviours such as Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Enquiring Minds, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership. Children need to be able to read and write, to manipulate number, to use technology effectively when required and to hypothesise and investigate.
We believe that everyone in school should be a role model to others, right from the youngest members of our community. Respect for each other, our learning, our community and our environment is essential. We also believe that children should be happy in school and enjoy learning. Attainment and progress are of course critical in a child’s education and we know that happy children succeed. By focusing on children’s wellbeing and happiness and by ensuring they are given the skills and tools to learn, we know we will get results the right way.
Central Academy thoroughly deserves the reputation it has gained over the years. Our children, teachers and parents are what makes our school special. I feel very privileged to lead such a wonderful school, along with our dedicated team of learning and teaching professionals, so that we can continue to develop and inspire our young learners who will of course be our leaders of tomorrow.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
